English Level Assessments

The manager of Rennert New York's Professional English Program (PEP) conducts telephone
interviews with prospective PEP students to assure they are at the correct level of English
fluency before they are enrolled in upper intermediate or intermediate group courses.
This step helps maintain an effective level of communication and comfort in Rennert's
executive classrooms.

Students enrolled in professional private classes fill out a questionnaire prior to their
arrival at Rennert that asks for background information and a self-assessment of their
English skills.

Professional English Program teachers do an additional evaluation of each student in
class and each course is customized for its participants
