Rennert Miami's Facilities
Rennert Miami is located on the 150-acre gated campus of St. Thomas University, a private Catholic university with a liberal arts tradition. Students at Rennert Miami's English as a Second Language (ESL) school have access to all campus facilities and amenities.
The St. Thomas University library houses more than 215,000 volumes, 900 print periodicals, five computer labs with access to the Internet as well as video, film and audio equipment. The library provides digital access to more than 14,474 journal, magazine, and newspaper titles, and 28,000 electronic books.
Rennert Miami students have access to a language lab, which is available through the ELLIS Academic Program.
The Rathskeller Snack Bar is considered the social hub of the campus. It serves burgers, pizza, salads, submarine sandwiches and beverages. The campus also has a cafeteria where non-resident students can buy breakfast, lunch or dinner, and a coffee shop that offers Cuban specialties.
Campus athletic facilities include six tennis courts, a swimming pool, two basketball courts, four baseball fields, a soccer field, two football fields and a fitness and training center for general student use.
The University is a member of the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) and the Florida Sun Conference. St. Thomas fields men's basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, and golf teams and women's soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball teams.
